Running alongside the U.S. Open the Junior National tournament always brings out some of the most lethal college and high school hammers out.

Last year we saw Pico and Retherford collide in the Junior Finals. Then later we had the epic Valencia v. I-Mar match.

This year we've already seen some monsters sign up, including Ohio State Freshman Micah Jordan.  Micah had an excellent Redshirt campaign, only falling to Laike Gardner of Lehigh while taking out other studs such as Jake Danishek and Solomon Chishko.

Now he'll put his Freestyle chops to the test at 70KG (154.5 lbs). Micah has very limited experience in Freestyle competition, but with his skill set on his feet, he's likely to be able to compete with some of the best.

The Buckeye Freshman will be a key component for TOSU next year as they'll look to defend their NCAA Title.  It's still not abundantly clear which weight Micah will compete at next year.  Micah split time early at 157, then made the cut down to 149 and had success there as well.

Note to the 70KG field: Get ready for that single.
