From the snow-covered woods of Minnesota to the sand-covered beaches of Hawaii, Flowrestling is LIVE at 7 different events this week.  We're kicking the week off with the most star-studded tournament in Pennsylvania, Powerade, an American Crown Series youth event, Dixie Nationals, and a series of wrestling duals held on the beautiful beaches of Hawaii, the Aloha Open. We'll then send the team over to the SOUTHERN SCUFFLE — perhpas the most excititng in-season tournament in college wrestling — before closing the week out with two more high school events: Texas Outlaw and Minnesota's prestiogious dual-style tournament, The Clash.

Oh yea! Almost forgot: we're LIVE at Blair Academy this Saturday to see the #2 ranked Bucaneers take on #1 ranked St. Paris Graham in what is expected to be the most electric high school wrestling dual of the season. 



Dixie Nationals

Wrestlers from all over the country ascend to Atlanta, Georgia to compete in Dixie Nationals, one of the 3 signature events that make up the American Crown Series. 

Powerade
Monday and Tuesday, December 29th - 30th

Annually one of the most competitive HS tournaments in the country, Powerade features over two dozen nationally ranked wrestlers including a potential showdown for the top spot in the land at 132lbs. Four of the Pound-for-Pound best are here in #2 Spencer Lee, #12 Vincenzo Joseph, #13 Luke Pletcher, and #14 Michael Kemerer.  On the team side of things, we'll watch as the #8 Franklin Regional Panthers try to upset newcomers Archer, Georgia, who are ranked 6th in the nation.

Aloha Open

The Aloha Open features traditional powers Oklahoma and Minnesota as well as American U and Oregon State. The inaugural event features the funk master himself #1 Dylan Ness of Minnesota, Reno TOC champ #12 Ross Larson for Oklahoma, Oregon State All American #10 Taylor Meeks, and American's throw master #18 David Terao makes his homecoming to wrestle in Hawaii.

Texas Outlaw

Allen high school plays host to the toughest Texas tournament of the new year.  Teams from Oklahoma, Nevada, Colorado, Illinois and Kansas hit Texas Outlaw for a chance to best the best programs in the Longhorn state. 

The Clash
Friday and Saturday, January 2nd - 3rd, 2014

The Clash is traditionally seen as one of, if not THE, toughest in-season High School National Dual Meet tournaments. With returning champion Apple Valley, ranked #12 in the country, looking to put on a repeat performance of its title run from last season and 3rd-ranked runner-up from a season ago, OPRF hoping to exact some revenge, this year’s event is sure to feature a host of action. Also in the mix of 32 teams is #18 St. Michael-Albertville, #23 Marmion and #25 Bound Brook. 

Headlining the intense dual meets are a number of the nation’s best wrestlers such as pound-for-pound powerhouse Mark Hall, top-ranked 126-pound Mitch McKee and #1 152-pounder, Isaiah White.

Perhaps the two greatest high school powerhouses of recent times, the SPG-Blair dual, which always features a bevy of soon-to-be college stars, is annually an in-season must-see. But this year, after Graham won Ironman, the stage is set to determine the national title. #1-Graham vs. #2-Blair on Saturday night for all the marbles.
