Arthur Transfers from Clarion to Nebraska
After a standout true freshman campaign, Clarion's Justin Arthur (Huntington, WV) announced his plans to transfer to Nebraska.
Arthur wrestled 149 in his first college season and posted a 32-18 record and qualified to the national tournament.
Arthur was 5th in the EWL's and was awarded a Wild Card to the NCAA Championships where he dropped his opening match to Old Dominion's Lenny Richardson. He won three consecutive bouts before being defeated in the blood round by defending NCAA Champion, Kendric Maple of Oklahoma.
He becomes the second major defection from Clarion. Earlier this year, fellow true freshman NCAA qualifier, and EWL Champ, Austin Matthews announced his intention of transferring to Edinboro.
