Wanna Join The Flowrestling Team?
Earlier this summer, we ran a job posting asking for candidates to submit their resumes for a position at Flowrestling.
Now, we're happy to announce that we're looking for not one, but two full-time producers.
The new positions will be as Associate Producers to create content, cover events, edit videos, and analyze the sport.
There are many passionate wrestling fans out there, but we're looking for the right two people for the job.
A postition as a Producer requires a strong work ethic, building relationships, creativity, and an engaging on-camera personality in addition to knowledge of wrestling at all levels.
Some of the tasks associated with the role of a Producer are announcing/filming/uploading matches, conducting interviews, writing articles, editing videos, and producing various other creative pieces of wrestling content.
And YES, you HAVE to live in Austin, Texas.
Send resume, cover letter, original video clips and writing sample to jobs@flocasts.com
Job Requirements:
- Wrestling Knowledge: Authority on the athletes, coaches, and national stories
- Video Production: Rock star with video editing software (Final Cut/FC Pro)
- Writing: Ability to compose articles for features, news, and results
- Research and Analysis: Knowledge of wrestling resources for information and results and ability to use this to assess and analyze the sport
- Personality: A strong voice, character, and on-air presence
Job Responsibilities:
- At the Event: Conduct interviews; retrieve, categorize, and name video files to upload
- At Headquarters: Determine content to feature; shoot original shows; recap previous week; preview upcoming week
- Always and Everywhere: Maintain contacts with wrestling personalities from youth through pros; collaborate with team members on content, with design team on creative promotion, and with sales team on business development.
Note from the Editor: At Flowrestling we pride ourselves in being the undisputed leader in original content. The key to our success is creating compelling videos and articles that reflect our voice. Press releases and coach speak don’t cut it here. We want originality, freshness, and perspective.
Life at Flowrestling is tough. You have to be both tireless and creative; a synthesis of work ethic and innovation. We work all day in the field or at the office, then go home or to the hotel, or on the plane, and keep on working.
Ultimately, when you go to bed at night, every night, you have to ask yourself: ‘How did I help promote the sport today?’
Every member at Flowrestling is committed to the rest of the team in carrying out assignments and pushing the envelope in the sport we love.
If you feel you have what it takes to be a great contributor here at FLO, email jobs@flocasts.com
