This week's award goes to Ryan Millhof (Collins Hill, GA) who completed a rare feat.
Wrestling at 126lbs, Millhof won his 4th straight class title in Virginia Beach.
A 2x Super 32 Champion, the Oklahoma-bound Millhof won the Sr. class division by beating California's Isaiah Locsin in the finals.
Millhof's three previous finals:
Jr. - over Cam Timok (VA)
So. - over Bryce Meredith (WY)
Fr. - over Will Koll (NY)
No rest for the weary. Millhof will make the trek to PA this week to compete at FloNationals.
Other Nominees:
Renaldo Rodriguez-Spencer (NY) - won his second straight NHSCA title. Last year he beat Alfred Bannister (MD) in the finals. On Sunday, he beat Cali State Champ, Nikko Villareal in overtime.
Clay Walker (SC) - won his 4th straight NHSCA title. As a freshman, he beat Nikko Villareal at 125lbs. Successive titles came at 126 (So.), 132 (Jr.) and this year at 138, where he beat Oregon's Josh Reyes.
Brandon Womack (AL) - earned his first NHSCA title as a Sr. after winning six state crowns for Scottsboro. A four-time placer at NHSCA's and a Runner-Up as both a Freshman and Junior, Womack will wrestle collegiately at Cornell.
Kenny Brinson (GA) - won a showdown of two-time NHSCA Champions. In the Junior division finals at 220lbs, Brinson beat Austin Myers (KY). Brinson came in ranked 16th, Myers 8th.
