2014 NCWA Championships: LIVE on Flo
Over 400 wrestlers from 85 teams from across the country gather in Allen, TX this week for the National Collegiate Wrestling Championships.  And Flowrestling will be covering the NCWA Championships LIVE from Thursday through Saturday, March 13th - 15th.

No wrestlers stand out more than defending National Champions, Sam Shames (#1 at 133) and Santiago Martinez (#1 at 157). Martinez should be able to navigate the 157lb bracket without problem, on his way to another NCWA Title.  Shames on the other hand, who stands at 35-0 this season, will surely be tested by undefeated true frosh and Ryan Diehl of Liberty University who is also undefeated this year.  Diehl was one of the finest high school wrestlers in the country last year and poses a threat for the best of the best without his unique, unorthodox style.

Traditional NCWA powerhouse University of Central Florida comes into the tourney one of the favorites, but they'll be tested by The Apprentice School, Grand Canyon University and Liberty who enters more wrestlers than any other team.

BE RECRUITED: A unique part of the NCWA Championships is the "Recruit Me" wrestling showcase, which gives high school juniors and senior wrestlers the opportunity to compete in front of college wrestling coaches from across the country.  Wrestlers are encouraged to showcase their best skills in an attempt to get recruited by talent-hungry coaches.  Parents of wrestlers are invited to join in the showcase and ask college coaches questions about their university and associated wrestling program.  The showcase is from 4:30pm - 6:30pm CT on March 12th.  More info here.
