Ohio State in the National Duals
Ohio State finished a program-best second in the 2002 National Duals. The Buckeyes lost to Minnesota, 26-8, in the final in St. John Arena. In 2009, Reece Humphrey, who was ranked No. 8 in the country, was named Most Outstanding Wrestler
of the National Duals after he upended the No. 2 and No. 4 ranked wrestlers. Humphrey, a native of Indianapolis, Ind., defeated No. 2 Andrew Hoshstrasser of Boise State, 6-4, and then downed Minnesota’s and No. 4 Jayson Ness, 5-4, in the fifth-place match
up. In all, Humphrey tallied a 5-0 record during the two-day event in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
Rewind - 2013 National Duals
Fifth-ranked Ohio State dropped a 28-6 decision to No. 6 Missouri in the opening round of the 2013 NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals Feb. 22 at Williams Arena in Minneapolis, Minn. Logan Stieber and Hunter
Stieber earned wins for the Buckeyes at 133 and 141 pounds, respectively.

Stieber, 13th-ranked Ohio State jumped out to a 17-0 lead and eventually cruised to a 39-6 win over Michigan State Feb. 7. In front of 2,250 fans at Massillon Perry High School in Massillon, Ohio, the Buckeyes improved to 9-4 overall and 4-4 in the Big
Ten Conference. In addition to Roberts, DiJulius and Stieber scoring bonus points for the Buckeyes, No. 11 Kenny Courts (174

*Fall, forfeit, injury default or DQ = 6 points (-6 points for a loss)
*Tech falls = 5 points (-5 points for a loss)
* Major decision = 4 points (-4 points for a loss)
*Decision = 3 points (-3 points for a loss)
Stieber also is sixth in Division I wrestling in technical falls with six. The Monroeville, Ohio, native has totaled 28:48 of technical fall time.
