This Sunday and Monday the premier dual championship for D1 wrestling will be going down.
The Minnesota Golden Gophers, hot off their upset victory over Penn State have all the momentum (and skill) on their side coming into this tournament.
They'll be pursued by the likes of Cornell, Oklahoma and potentially Ohio State. Knocking off Minnesota will require a comination of upsets and Hurculean efforts from the challenging teams.
Action starts Sunday at 1:00 PM EST. See the photo below for brackets as well as the schedule of events.
Flowrestling will be covering all the preliminary bouts as well as consolation matches live on Flo Pro.
Looking over round 1 action we could see North Dakota State's Steven Monk take on UTC Corey Mock.
Kendric Maple will have a shot at redemption against Bryce Busler in round 1. Expect a statement to be made!
Zane Richards of Illinois will likely face Joe Roth of CMU. Also we could see Zach Horan of CMU square off against Steven Rodrigues of Illinois.
Zach Neibert of VT could face 2 time AA Scott Sakaguchi as well.
Start to finish we will have tons of ranked v. ranked matches. Don't miss it!
