EDINBORO, Pa. - Zach Epperly of the Virginia Tech wrestling team continued to roll in his redshirt season, winning the Edinboro Open Saturday in Pennsylvania. The true freshman from Christiansburg, Va., won his fifth tournament of the season to run his record to 25-2! . Also placing at the Open were Kevin Norstrem (2nd at 133 pounds), Nick Anderson (3rd at 141 pounds ), Nick Brascetta (3rd at 157 pounds), David Reck (3rd at 197 pounds), Jared Haught (5th at 197 pounds) and David Wesley (6th at 165 pounds).

Epperly, wrestling at 174 pounds, has now won titles at the Hokie Open, the Wolfpack Open, the Shorty Hitchcock Memorial, the Appalachian State Open and now the Edinboro Open. He also placed fifth at the prestigious Midlands Invitational.
