Cowboy face Northern Colorado at home

LARAMIE, Wyo. (Feb. 4, 2014) A rivalry 82 years in the making will be continued Friday, as the University of Wyoming wrestling team faces off against Northern Colorado at home. It will be the second league dual of the season for UW.

The details

The Cowboys and Bears have squared off 77 times, the most in UW wrestling history against one program. The first matchup between the squads was in 1932, which makes it the longest series in program history.

The dual is dubbed “Family Friday,” which offers a family four tickets, four hot dogs and four Pepsi products for $24. The first 250 fans in the UniWyo Sports Complex will receive t-shirts.

Action begins at 7 p.m. from the UniWyo in the Western Wrestling Conference contest. Free live video will be available on GoWyo.com, and live results will be provided via TrackWrestling.com.
