As I have before, I'll try to update AT LEAST after every period. Keep refreshing and clicking and I'll keep updating!
125-Jordan Conaway-PSU v. Connor Youtsey-Michigan
1st Period: Youtsey looking to get to his front headlock right away. That's where he's great and very comfortable. Conaway looking for wrists, underhook for Youtsey. A few half shots from both guys but no real committments yet. Single from Conaway, Youtsey looks to pass the leg but Conaway gets height and the 2. Reversal right away for Youtsey and it'll be 2-2 after the first Period.
2nd Period: Youtsey goes bottom. Earns the escape. 3-2 Youtsey. Not much RT for either. Another shot from Conaway, countered by Youtsey.
Another Single from Conaway, hooks the bottom leg again and gets another takedown. 4-3 lead for Conaway after 2.
3rd Period: Conaway goes down and gets away right away. 5-3 Conaway. Takedown Conaway, escape Youtsey and another TD for Conaway for the 9-4 win.

133-Jimmy Gulibon-PSU v. Rossi Bruno-Michigan
1st Period: Wrist and elbow control for Gulibon. High crotch for Bruno, front headlock for Gulibon. Sweep for Jimmy with a quick finish. 2-0 Gulibon. Tough ride from Jimmy here and Bruno strugglin to get away. Gulibon ALMOST gets reversed but hangs tough and gets the rideout.
2nd Period: Jimmy goes down and gets the quick escape. Bruno goes for the double overhook throw but Jimmy counters and puts Bruno on his back for 5 out of bounds. 8-0 Jimmy. Gulibon looking for the tilt but just a 1 count. Bruno's head is on the mat.
3rd Period: Bruno takes neutral and is looking for the throw again. Nice snaps from Jimmy looking for the takedown but they go out of bounds

141-Zain Retherford-PSU v. Stephen Dutton-Michigan
1st Period: Zain getting to his ties right away. Moving Dutton around. Gets to his single, switches down to a low single and finishes no sweat. Legs come in right away. Rideout for Zain.
2nd Period: Zain takes bottom. Reversal after about 50 seconds. 4-0 Zain now. Stall warning on Dutton. Zain throws in the boots and gets the rideout.
3rd period: Dutton takes neutral. Great low attack and quick finish for Zain. 6-0 and Zain cuts him loose. Dutton doesnt want to face him. Guys shoot at the same time. Dutton with his head outside and stalemate. 1:00 to go. A shot from space by Dutton. Zain looks for the go behind, and drops to the single Stalemate.
Match ends 7-1.

149-Andrew Alton-PSU v. Eric Grajales-Michigan
1st Period: Alton in on the single right away and a quick finish for Andrew. 2-0. Alton look sfor the tilt but can't get it. Escape for Grajales. 2:00 to go in the 1st. Alton ALMOST gets the cow catcher for the fall but just gets 2 and 2 for a 6-1 lead. 6-2 with the Grajales escape. Holy cow what a period! Reviewing a potential takedown for Alton. Two is given. I thought that was the right call. 8-2 after 1.
2nd Period: Grajales takes bottom and gets the escape. 8-3 Alton now. Grajales in deep and picks AA up and gets the 2. ALMOST gets a 2 count for a tilt. 8-5 now . Alton just gets warned for stalling.
3rd Period: Alton goes bottom. Grajales kicks him loose and gets a quick takedown. Grajales lets him loose, arm drag double and is up 11-9. Shot by Grajales and a crazy counter puts Grajales in danger but just the takedown given. 13-9 Alton. This has been insane. This is under review. They're checking the score maybe? Escape and takedown for Grajales and a stall point given makes it 13-12 Alton. Takedown Grajales to his back and theres the fall!! What a match!!!
I did my best to keep up with the action, takedowns, escapes and and stall points were tough to keep up with.

157-Dylan Alton-PSU v. Brian Murphy-Michigan
1st Period: Alton in on a shot on the edge. Trying to pull Murphy back in. Murphy using his length well. Now Alton standing with the single. Alton looks to switch to the double but Murphy squares up no problem. 0-0 with 30 to go.
2nd Period: Murphy goes bottom and gets away.
3rd Period: 1-0 Murphy. Alton goes bottom and escapes. 1-1. RT not a factor. Alton clinging in ties Murphy looking to get to legs. Elbow off to a single for Alton, Murphy really scrambling well. Alton ALMOST gives up the 2 at the buzzer but we go to Sudden Victory!
SV1: No attempts. No score.
TB1: Alton goes down. Legs come in. Altontrying to get his hips up but Murphy gets Dylan extended. Looking like he'll get the rideout and does.
TB2: Murphy gets the reversal but Murphy hurts his knee. Didn't look good. Scratch that. They take the reversal off the reversal off the board and Michigan will challenge. 8 seconds left in TB2. Alton goes on bottom since Murphy took injury time but couldn't get away.
SV2: Alton gets the single, raises the leg and finishes. What a ballsy match by Murphy though.

165-David Taylor-PSU v. Dan Yates-Michigan
1st Period: Here we go. Underhook knee pick for 2 for Taylor. Working for wrist control now. Escape for Yates and DT right back in on the single. Looking to run behind and gets two more. 4-1 now. Another escape and a quick go behind for Taylor and a tilt makes it 9-2 after 1.
2nd Period: Yates takes bottom. Legs come in for DT. DT transitioning looking for different turns and winds up with a wrist and another tilt. Goes again and gets the 5 count. 14-2 now. Another 2 count and it's 16-2.
3rd Period: Taylor goes bottom gets the escape and the tech.
18-6 PSU
174-Matt Brown-PSU v. Collin Zeerip-Michigan
1st Period: Brown in on the single right away, quick finish and there's 2. Zeerip escapes and theres another 2 for Brown. 4-1 Brown. Warning for stalling against Zeerip. Escape for Zeerip and another TD for Brown. Brown has a nearside cradle locked up and is getting a count. 9-2 with the back points. Brown kicks him loose for the escape drops in on the double, switches to single and finishes. 11-3 Brown after 1.
2nd Period: Brown takes bottom, hits a switch and gets the 2. Theres the tilt for Brown and after a Zeerip escape it's 15-4. Easy go behind for Brown and it's 17-4. Another escape for Zeerip and another takedown for Brown makes it 19-5.
3rd Period: Zeerip takes bottom. Escape for Zeerip, high single for Brown and there's the finish for the 2. 21-6 TF

184-Ed Ruth-PSU v. Dominic Abounader-Michigan
1st Period: Under way here and a lefty high crotch for Ed. No finish. Ruth in on a single and theres the finish. 2-0 Ed and he's lets Abounader out. Double leg for Ed and it's 4-1. Ed looks for the cradle but slips off. There's the escape and it's 4-2 Ed. Abounader shoots but it's a quick go behind for Ruth and it'll be 6-2 after 1.
2nd Period: Ruth takes Bottom and gets a quick reversal for an 8-2 lead. Nice tilt for Ed for the 5 count makes it 11-2. Now he's got the cradle locked but Abounader fights out of it. Locked back up again and Ed brings him straight back for 3 more nearfall. 14-2 Ed.
3rd Period: Abounader goes bottom. Abounader comes up to his feet but Ed gets his wrist and rolls him through for the tilt and the tech. 17-2.

197-Morgan McIntosh-PSU v. Chris Heald-Michigan
1st Period: Here we go, Heald in on a low shot here but McIntosh kicks out. TD and escape and another TD for McIntosh makes it 4-1. Another low attack for McIntosh but he couldn't finish. 4-2 after 1.
2nd Period: Heald goes bottom. McIntosh really close to the turn with the turk. No nearfall, but he's close. Now he's getting it. 3 NF makes it 7-2.
3rd Period: McIntosh goes bottom and gets a quick escape to make it 8-2. Nice snap and another takedown and escape. There's another td and it's 12-4 just like that . Another escape for Heald. 50 to go and theres a high crotch with a finish. MM lets him up again and it's 14-5. Nice low double from Heald for 2 and and McIntosh hits a quick switch for a reversal and it's 17-7.

285-Jon Gingrich-PSU v. Adam Coon-Michigan
1st Period: Alright Coon is out there and that knee looks to be pretty taped up. Gingrich interestingly has beaten McClure who just beat Coon. #FunFact. Coon looking for his right side underhook and is pushing Gingrich around. There's the stall warning on Gingrich. 1:30 to go. First period ends scoreless.
2nd Period: Gingrich goes bottom and escapes quickly. 1-0 Jon. Coon keeps working and gets the stall point. 1-1 now.
3rd Period: Coon goes bottom and gets out no sweat. Leads 2-1 now. Gingrich gets in DEEP but couldn't quite finish. Theres the 2-1 win for Coon.
