The wrestling community lost one of its finest competitors and showman  this weekend. Besik Kudukhov, the 4 time World Champion and 2 time Olympic Medalist from Russia, died in a car accident traveling from Vladikavkaz to Krasnodar.

Though as Americans we cheered proudly for our guy whenever he faced Besik, you couldn't help but watch and admire the competitor he was and the skill with which he wrestled.  There was a several year stretch from 2009-2011 where Kudukhov was widely considered the pound for pound best wrestler on Earth.

And there was little argument, from anyone.

Flowrestling extends its thoughts and condolonces to the friends and family of Besik and wish them comfort through this difficult time.

Always a member of the Flo family, Joe "Joe Flo" Williamson made a quick video expressing his thoughts about Besik's passing.
