It goes down this Saturday.  A landmark event.

What a line-up on tap. At Who’s #1, a dual featuring Top 3 wrestlers everywhere, there are dozens of storylines and plenty of ranking ramifications.

And of course, there’s a little Jordan Oliver-Bubba Jenkins finale to close things out.

Injuries have cause two wrestlers to bow out. Joey Galasso (145, PA) suffered a labrum injury training for the event.

Joey McKenna (138, NJ) has been named Team JO Captain in Galasso’s stead.

Replacing Galasso to face Tyler Berger (OR), will be McKenna’s teammate, Mason Manville. He’s a 3x Fargo Champion and 4x finalist.

Mark Hall (160, MN) was injured in the finals of the Freak Show.

Ryan Blees, who was originally scheduled to compete at 152, has accepted the challenge to bump up to 160, marking a #1 vs. #2 bout with Garrett Peppelman for the top spot in the nation.

The vacancy at 152 will be filled by Zach Kelly of Kiski, Pa. Kelly has been on fire this offseason, placing 3rd in Fargo. He was a Runner-Up at the Super 32 last weekend. Kelly will face one of the best Juniors in the country in Fox Baldwin of Osceola, Florida.

There has also been two Honorary Coaches added to the program:

Barry Snyder, Easton, PA - will be in a familiar position, coaching alongside Steve Powell for Team JO. Snyder is a long-time assistant at Easton where he helped guide Jordan Oliver to a stellar career. Snyder was also captain of the Penn State wrestling team and the Head Coach of Lafayette College when they were a Division I program. He is the father of current Nebraska Associate Head Coach, Bryan Snyder, a four time All American and two time national finalist. In spite of all Barry’s success, his wife Charlotte, still wears the pants in the family.

John Strittmatter, Ebensburg, PA - a 2012 inductee in to the Pitt-Johnstown Hall of Fame where he was a National Champion and 2x National Finalist, John coaches the vaunted Young Guns Wrestling Club that just mopped up the competition at Super 32.

We at FLO are excited and honored to have athletes and coaches of this magnitude involved in our event. Thank you all.
