Super 32: 3rd Best Match of 2012

Super 32 is right around the corner, and in an attempt to do the toughest preseason tournament in the country justice, Flowrestling will be counting down the top 5 matches from last year's event.

#3 Ryan Diehl (PA) v Michael Kemerer (PA)
A highly anticipated 126lb. semifinal that matched Super 32 champ v Super 32 Champ, the Diehl v Kemerer bout definitely lived up to the hype. Neither of these salty wrestlers could manage a takedown in the first period, and each ended up trading escapes in the second and third. And then things got wild! Diehl would get an awesome takedown on the edge to go up 3-1, but just moments before a young table worker approached the offical to signal the end of the match, Kemerer hit a wild funk roll to steal a reversal. Diehl and his coach were shocked. Both wrestlers would jocky for position in OT, but neither could take the other down....double overtime! Like every other match in our Top 5 of 2012, this one came down to the very end.
