Coveted Big Man, Sam Stoll Verbals To Hawkeyes
Willie Saylor, Editor
One of the most talented big men in the country has decided to continue his career as an Iowa Hawkeye.
Sam Stoll, the #13 prospect in the Class of 2014, gave the Brands Brothers the word late Sunday evening. "I know the coaches will get me to where I need to be. Iowa is the place for me to accomplish my goals. I love the environment and everything about Iowa."
A HWT prospect, Stoll comes to Iowa via Kasson-Mantorville, Minnesota, where he has been Top 3 in the state since his Freshmen season. Among the most decorated recruits of the SR Class, Stoll has won two Fargo titles. This spring, Stoll won the U.S. JR World Team Trials in Greco.
Stoll joins fellow Minnesotan, Seth Gross (141) and Burke Paddock (NY, 165) as Iowa signees thus far.
He lists Nebraska, Minnesota, and North Dakota State as other schools he was considering.
