Flowrestling Kicks Off Wrestling Season

Like most of the wrestling community, I'm pumped for wrestling season to start.  I didn't put that right. I'm STARVING for wrestling season. I'm hungry for Big Ten duals, I'm hungry for live streaming matches of Tony Ramos and David Taylor; I'm ravenous for tournaments where the best high school wrestlers in the country face each other in the quarterfinals of a two day event.  I'm freaking drooling over the much anticipated Logan Stieber vs Kendrick Maple match up at the All Star Classic. And I can't stop thinking about how MMA v Wrestling cross-over events, like Freakshow and Snake Pit, will change wrestling for the better.

This is a very important year for our sport, and Flo is happy to bring all you wrestling fiends a healthy diet of youth, high school and collegiate wrestling coverages that you can't get anywhere else. We're prepared to give you access to the most prestigious wrestling events in the country, and we're uber excited to present the wrestling community with a high quality LIVE experience that will make even the most casual of fans die hards for life!

Super 32
Straight up, it's the most competitive pre-season tournament of all time. You'll see more state champions, All Americans and ranked wrestlers at Super 32 than you will at any other high school tournament in the country. Nuff said.

Freakshow - Ben Askren v Quentin Wright
Some say 'the West is the best.' That may or may not be the case, but one thing's for sure: Freakshow is where it's at this year. Hosted in Las Vegas, NV, Freakshow aggregates stud after stud and presents one of the most important wrestling match ups in recent years: Ben Askren v Quentin Wright.  A cross-over event, which pairs an active MMA superstar vs an active wrestling juggernaut, this year's Freakshow appeals to the casual wrestling fan AND educated wrestling enthusiats.  The Askren v Wright supermatch will resignate in the minds of many and is expected to take our sport to a new level.

Who's #1 at the Snake Pit - Jordan Oliver v Bubba Jenkins
It's never been done before -not like this anyway.  For the first time in high school wrestling, fans will get to see a high school all star dual in the pre-season.  Who's #1 will shake up and affect our rankings for the entire year.  Oh yea!  There's one more thing: Jordan Oliver wrestles Bubba Jenkins -in JO's hometown nonetheless.  National champ v national champ. Can you handle the madness? Who's #1 line ups here

NWCA All Star Classic
For the second straight year, Flowrestling will be bringing you the NWCA All Star Classic. While this year's Classic doesn't boast a 'Match of the Century' type match up, it does boast an entertaining showdown between Kendrick Maple and Logan Stieber.  Each wrestler comes into the event having gone undefeated last year en route to national titles.  Can Stieber jump up to 149# and topple Oklahoma's most impressive wrestler, Maple? Gotta watch to find out!
