Commentary: Franklin Regional's wolfpack of Kemerer, Shields, and Maruca grew by one this offseason when Devin Brown moved-in from Saegertown, where he was a state champion and a Fila Cadet World Team member. Possibly the best group of junior teammates comprised in the nation, the "Franklin Four" are all part of the state's top ten prospects for the class of 2015. Western PA has a stranglehold on this list. Krivus lost his first match at the state tournament as a freshman two years back and has not lost a match in Hershey since then. He has grown considerably this offseason and will compete at whippersnapper of a weight class at the Super 32 Challenge in late October at 132. Johnson, from Berks County, may be a surprise in the top ten but is athletic as they come being a two-sport star with strength, skill, and quickness that makes him a favorite at 195 in 3A after putting his stamp on the map with a third place finish in the last season's individual tournament. Vincenzo Joseph wrestles at every big-time event and always has a spot on the medal stand. What he did in Fargo this summer may have the most impressive thing he has done in his storied wrestling career. Since only four competitors per state can compete at each weight, Joseph had to bump up to 138. From there, he went on to earn All-American honors and defeat PA State Champion Tyler Smith in the seventh place match in the Junior Freestyle division; talk about a big move! This class may not have the deep major accomplishments after the top ten wrestlers but in due time these are the one's who will be making their mark and garnering immense communication from division-I college coaches far and wide. As always, certain guys take a leap with tremendous Fargo performances like Hollingshead, Doak, and Hazel did this summer. Do not sleep on this junior class because their impact will go beyond high school and onto the college level where there could be double-digit All-American's over the next seven years. Keep your eye's wide open when they step on the mat, as they are sure to amaze.
