Russia: Episode Three Premieres July 30th

Flo Pro's newest original series, Russia, returns tomorrow with episode three. Titled, 'The Changing of the Guard,' the episode concludes Joe and Bader's trip to the Motherland and culminates with a series of shocking Russian Nationals upsets that stunned the Krasnoyarsk crowd and shocked the wrestling world.

Episode Preview

Episode three of Russia picks up where episode two left off. This time around, we upped the ante with our exposition of two wrestlers who've dominated the 60kg weight class for the last five years: Besik Kudukhov and Opan Sat. Kudukhov, the 4x World champion, is pegged as the tournament favorite; Sat, the 3x European champion and local Krasnoyarsk hero, has his sights set on beating Kudukhov for the first time in his career -and in front of his home crowd nonetheless.

No one expected what was to come. On the final day of competition, two younger and lesser-known Russian competitors pulled off dramatic upsets that will go down in Russian Nationals folklore. Russian Nationals did what it is accustomed to doing: it revealed a crop of young wrestlers destined for international greatness and it showed that even the greatest wrestlers in the world "can't be king forever."
