103:
Edgar Garcia (PA) beat nationally ranked Nolan Hellickson of Iowa, a Cheesehead Champ.

8th Graders Spencer Lee (PA) and  Eric Hong (PA) kept things rolling with their second pins. Hong will have state champ, Devin Brown (PA) next.

113:
The big news in the first round was PA 8th grader, Todd Lane, knocking off Fargo AA and Tri-State Champ, Casey Cobb of Idaho.

Twelve of the 16 winners posted bonus in round two.

120:
Everything went according to plan in round one. Though ranked wrestlers Dom Forys (PA) and Jared Prince (FL) had close ones.

Forys then fell in round two to Ohio's Zack Durbin.

Good one next round with Jamel Morris and Jared Prince, both of Florida.

126:
Drew Walker (PA) knocked off 3rd-seeded Joe Velliquette (MO) in a great bout.

The 4th seed, Jamal Morris, a 3xer from Florida, squeeked out a 3-1 win.
Good match next round with quality frehman Kaleb Young (PA) and Cali state champ, Johnny Parada.

132:
2x Cali Runner-Up, Paul Fox, and 2x GA State Champ, Chandler Pyke, both had impressive falls.

138:
A couple interesting matches of note early. Jake Shaffer (PA), ranked on the FR Big Board, beat Bryce Parson (ID), who is ranked on the SO. Big Board. Also Brock Zacherl (PA) posted a quality win over Sergio Enloe (CA).

145:
All went according to plan. But expect some really fun wrestling in the next round from what is one of the most balanced weight classes here.

152:
There are a couple of the best 8th Graders in the country in this weight. Jelani Embree, ranked 6th on the Big Board, wrestled Jon Jay Chavez tough, but fell 10-2. Next round, we'll see Chase Singletary, ranked 3rd on the Big Board, wrestle second seeded JaVaughn Perkins. It's one of a gang of great match-ups for the Round of 16. Lujan (GA) vs. Culton (IL), Law (PA) vs. Ceravalo (WV), and Preisch (PA) vs. Kelly (PA), are all compelling.

160:
Some fine talent here, but they're spread out. Day I has gone to chalk thus far. Things will heat up in the quarters tomorrow.

170:
There were 11 bonus point wins in the Round of 32. Intriguing bout next round with Sleigh (PA state 3rd) and Devin Pingel, a Michigan State Champ ranked 18th on the FR Big Board.

182:
This bracket got all jacked up as the 3, 4, and 7 seeds all went down. Idaho's Dakota Johnson beat CA's Immanuel Barber. Aaron Rothwell of Wisconsin was beaten by Ohio's Brandon Rogers. And Ali Yildiz lost to Florida's Jhalen Flanders.

Matt Williams (CA) beat Liam Korbul (NJ) in a good match of state placers. Quarters are now set for tomorrow.

195:
A nice bunch of quartfinalists are set. Among the upsets were Nezar Haddad (PA) knocking of FL state champ Ben Cruz, and Evan Ramos taking out Fargo GR Runner-Up Turcinhodzic.

220:
Double Fargo 3rd placer, Christian Jenco (NJ) was the only Day I casuality. Quarters are set.

HWT:
Shane Kuhn, ranked 18th in the country, was beaten by Michigan State Champ Ryan Prescott. Evan Daley beat PA Runner-Up Nick Budd.
