Registration for FloNationals is booming. On Wednesday, 92 of California's best signed up for what will be the deepest FloNats field yet, as there are now over 800 wrestlers set to compete for the April 5th event.
If you remember last year, you know the warning shots were issued from the left coast. Cali came to PA with an army. And it wasn't all bark. The Golden Staters bit, too, as they wrestled to the team title with 317pts, which surpassed PA's 277 and New Jersey's 208.
Included in this year's California contingent is...get this...14 state finalists!
- Nikko Villareal, the man to stop Alex Cisneros, who would go on to win Flonationals, from becoming a 4x state champ.
- Nick Nevills, who pinned his way through the state tournament.
- Mason Pengilly, a multiple Fargo All American
Can California do it in PA's back yard again?
