New Jackrabbits' Head Coach, the legendary Chris Bono, has been hitting the trail hard in his first recruiting cycle.

On Wednesday it paid off in the form of talented big man, Nate Rotert.

From Spearfish, SD, Rotert is a national talent ranking 6th at 220lbs and listed as Flowrestling's #53 recruit in the country. He's projected as a 197lber.

Rotert has captured NHSCA titles the last two springs, and reached Fargo's big stage in 2011 at 215lbs. He chose his home state Jackrabbits over Nebraska and Wyoming.

For Bono and SDSU, Rotert is the second State Champion in this year's class. They previously received a commitment from 3x Tennessee Champ, Brandon Brunner (133).
