The Old Dominion Head Coach known for his efforts on the recruiting trail picked up one of the hottest names this summer.
Jake Velarde of North Kitsap, Washington, was one of the most-talked-about prospects on the Fargodome floor this summer. Velarde is a three-time State Champ and three-time Fargo AA. He reached the finals of Junior Greco this summer at 138lbs.
Velarde projects at 141 in college, and joins an ODU recruiting class that currently includes Brandon Jeske (125/VA) and Jordan Marshall (157/OH).
