Funny story: Adam Tirapelle learned this single leg series from watching VHS tapes of Terry Brands. He discusses how no one taught him this series formally. He learned by constantly rewinding the videotape to pick up on Terry Brands' set up and attack. Well, the technique video tapes worked! Adam Tirapelle mentions that this was the takedown series he was most successful with in college!

Terry Brands Leg Attacks
Tirapelle shows to control his opponent's elbow to take pressure off his head from a collar tie. He then drives through the guy -attacking his opponent's leg with his right hand as he also drives his opponent's elbow forward.

Variation Elbow Pass to Brands Style Single

Tirapelle shows some solid feel set ups to hit from the Brands style set up and single. He shows how to attack if the guys doesn't grab on your head but instead posts on the shoulder. He also shows a set up by pushing opponent's wrist down and more!

Terry Brands Style Leg Attack Near Side
Adam once again controls his opponent's elbow from the collar tie. This time, however, he turns his opponent's body and drives through him at an angle. Pull the head, control the elbow, slide him by at an angle and attack his near leg.
