New South Dakota State Head Coach, Chris Bono isn’t wasting any time attracting talent to his program.

Despite being early in the recruiting cycle, Bono picked up a verbal agreement Wednesday night from Tennessee product, Brandon Brunner.

Brunner, from Tennessee perennial power, Baylor, is a 3x State Champion heading into his senior campaign. He was also a 2x Prep Slam placer, finishing as a Runner-Up two seasons ago.

Brunner’s latest state title came at 132lbs, and he projects to college as a 133lber.

Earlier this summer, former Nebraska Cornhusker and Big XII Champion, David Klingsheim, announced he will be wrestling for the Jackrabbits this fall.
