No respect given to team USA by the odds makers. That may be an opportunity for someone willing to make a wager. If you want to bet on Burroughs, he is a solid favorite 13/8, but not as big a favorite as Besik Kudukhov 8/15. This seems strange because Besik Kudukhov recently got beat by Franklin Gomez who only has a 13/2 odds, while Jordan Burroughs has been untouchable for the last year.
You think Jared "Air" Frayer is hot? Well he is a 50/1 Longshot!!!
We probably think Dlagnev has an awesome shot to win gold, I know I do. Well...he is a mediocre 8/1 shot to win gold.

Those odds look right. I mean, seriously, we Americans haven't fared so well in past decade and a half. I am very excited about our prospects this year and I hope we do well, but if I were putting money on it, Jordan Burroughs would be the only relatively safe bet. But even Burroughs won't have a walk int he park....I wouldn't be shocked if the Russian gets him this time...that dude is crazy good. In any case, I still think Burroughs should take it. Dlagnev and Varner might medal, but I wouldn't bet on it. None of the other guys have a chance. Coleman Scott is a bit of a Dark Horse, and we might see a surprise there -- don't know for sure. I hate to be a downer here, but just doing a reality check.
