JR High Big Board Notes

JH Big Board
Welcome to the Junior High Big Board. There’s been a lot of action since the last update and this iteration takes into account Super 32 MS, Freakshow, Tulsa Kickoff Classic, VAC and McDonogh Duals, Philo and Tulsa Nationals.
Perhaps the youngster most ‘on fire’ this cycle is Cullan Schriever who swept S32 and both Tulsa titles with a huge win over Kellyn March in Greensboro.
Josh Saunders also won all three.
In one of the most high-profile bouts, Hillegas beat Faught in S32 finals before Faught beat Devos for both Tulsa titles.
Colton Yapoujian didn’t place in Tulsa. But he did go undefeated at VAC with wins over Gould, Madera, Olguin and Ford-Melton, and won the Kickoff Classic over Biscoglia, who is ranked on the FR board. Otherwise, Yapoujian has been ultra consistent. I give him a mulligan here.
There are 12 new members to the JH Big Board. Let’s profile some of them...
Austin Boone won both Tulsa titles beating Beau Bartlett for the most recent one. He also went undefeated at VAC.
His only recent loss was to Julian Chlebove at Preseason Nationals. Chlebove would go on to win Tulsa with a win over former #2-Bazuldua.
Jackson Henson beat Chlebove at Kickoff.
Another one to win that trifecta was Mosha Schwartz.
Ryan Crookham makes his debut after winning S32 in a bracket with Phipps, Poulin, and Gary Steen. He also went 7-1 at McDonogh.
Jaxon Smith - 3rd S32, Kickoff and Tulsa Champ, Undefeated at VAC
Chris Cannon - won Philo and was undefeated at both VAC and McDonogh with two wins over Greenwood.
Ryan Anderson - won Philo and went undefeated at VAC with wins over Abas, Gobencion, and Bryant.
Next update will include FloNationals, Reno Worlds, and various state Junior High tournaments.
