If you look at the VAC and McDonogh at 100lbs , Aaron Brooks and Kareem Askew each have on loss and it's to each other. 4-2 Brooks wins at VAC and 3-1 Askew wins at McDonogh. Their two head to heads are like chess matches ( they are on line), Two very smart and tough young wrestlers. Both defeated Joe Lee in very close matches and Brooks beat Merola 4-1 at McDonogh.
Willy, you should look into the Mcdonogh Duels. The results are on Trackwrestling. It was a high level event with tough wrestlers at every weight. There were some great match-ups that will further inform this list. I think the Mcdonogh Duels is a classy event and one of the better National Duel meet events in the nation.
guys, love the info. but instead of all the results, could you please just post links.
So why would you not mention Kareen Askew??? He went undefeated @ 102 and was on the team (SCORPIONS) that won the entire duals.Record 7-0vs Warhawks - Maj Dec 11-0vs Burnett Trained - Dec 6-0vs Mat Town USA - Fall 3:50vs CAWL - Maj Dec 12-0vs Pittbull - Dec 7-0vs Young Guns - Fall 2:29vs Junior Terps - Dec 3-1Congrats Kareem

Adam busiello should be ranked. He recently won his weight class at the prestige super 32 and has won other prestige tournaments including reno worlds, tulsa nationals, 2x war at the shore champ. He also has won numerous NYS titles.
This list is definitely missing Andrew Merola. Especially if Shane Griffith is ranked so high. If you do your homework, you will find out exactly why. Merola is an Apex kid, and Griffith is a former Apex kid. Adam Bussiello should definitely be on the list along with Vincent Andreano. Perhaps the biggest miss of all is Josh Mckenzie. He's just simply on another level. He won NJ state 6x and has never lost to someone his age. Only to high schoolers. He doesn't do Tulsa, but everyone in PA and NJ knows him.Andrew Merola- NJ state champ, Tulsa champ (beat Griffith in final), War of Shore champ (beat Griffith in final), Reno 2nd. He was on the World All Star Team => Apex wrestling schoolAdam Bussiello- NY state champ, Tulsa champ, War of Shore champ, Tulsa 2nd (on one of the worst calls I've ever seen in my life). => Apex wrestling school / 631 EliteVincent Andreano- 6x NJ State champ, 4x Tulsa champ, 4x World All Star Team. No one his age and weight beats him. => Apex wrestling schoolJosh McKenzie- 6x NJ state champ. No one his age and weight beats him. He has a lot of wins over Ryan Karoly I'm told. => Apex wrestling school/ triumph
thanks for the nominations and updates guys. sincerely appreciate it. JR HS big board will be updated next week most likely. wanted to have it sooner after S32, but i'll be travelling.and feel free to tell me your thoughts, drop some knowledge, or rip me at willie@flocasts.com
I agree Quinn Devaney should be ranked as 6x MD champ and finalist in the toughest bracket in MS Super32 IMO. So should Nino Bonacorssi who just won the toughest Super32 MS bracket, a PA St. Champ, and finalist this past year and also 2x OH Tourn of Champion. Both of these studs will be HS champions in their respective wt.
Quinn Devaney of Maryland should be considered for the list. Last weekend super 32 finalist, 2x NHSCA Champion, AAU high-school all-american this past summer, Multi-National AA, 6 XMD State Champion. Quinn is an 8th grader at McDonogh School, Owings Mills,MD. Thanks for the consideration. Willie thanks for all you do.
Well i think my boys from IL made there case to make it into these rankings Anthony Madrigal beat drew wilson 6-0 at super 32 lost to cade. Also Jason Renteria beat Drew mattin and won super 32 also with cole manley at his weight
Justin mejia from clovis ca 3 time state champ reno world champ 2nd tulsa nationals 3 tulsa kick off beat drew wilson juatin has only lost to cade the last 2 years he should be on your top ten go to the tulsa rankins he was ranked 3 in the nation !!!!!!!!!!!!
Couple more Utah kids that are deserving ... Taylor Lamont multiple time usaw national champ. Undefeated at wildwood deals and usaw school boy.... jaxon Cole usaw national champ.. 9-1 nj duals and has beaten 4-5 kids on this list... and Ashton seeley double usaw champ.... 14-1 schoolboy duals and 9-1 nj duals.... any objections to these 3
anthony, i received conflicting reports. the most credible indicated that he was an 8th grader this year. and he just listed himself as an 8th grader in the Super 32 registration.

Willie, good work on the rankings.Take a look at Josh Stillings from Pa.The kid has some big wins
Osh, i hear ya. i like to think i do a pretty good job, but missing a kid here and there is inevitable. i love being introduced to talent. by all means, gimme a shout!
Willie no disrespect meant by my post... I enjoy looking at your rankings.Rankings are great to see who is out there.Sometimes people put more into it then there is, as far as not seeing a name in lights kind of thing.Middle School is just another stepping stone to the bigger picture.
I like it that my son has beat 2 of the top 30 ranked kids this year and one of them twice!!It is ok not to be ranked as long as you are beating the ranked kids.
Brian Barnes from Oregon will be an eighth grader this upcoming year won the 175 lb class at FR and GR nationals. Also Hayden Maley(136) from Roseburg will be an 8th grader. Both kids tough as nails.
thanks papa, much appreciated. nailing down grades on the JR HS kids is a chore. to make matters worse, i get conflicting info on certain kids staying back and repeating a grade.anyway, i'll make the corrections on the next update.
Of the Illinois kids you have listed only Norfleet is not about to be a freshman. Stallings, Jaffe and Povlick are all starting high school next month. The top Illinois middle school kids are Austin O'connor, Norfleet, Austin Gomez, Jason Renteria and Jack Jessen.
Hey what do you base your rankings off of ?missing alot of Il kids multiple state champs And national champs
