I heard Michael Olsen doesn't even wrestle anymore.

interesting. i don't see him listed in the state rankings either. wonder what happened to him.

there are a lot of discrepancies between individual rankings and these recruiting rankings.

individual rankings are process-driven (resume, h-t-h's, etc)
recruiting rankings are an assessment of talent, skill set, and future potential.

At worst, Colton Adams should be 30 on this list because he beat Johnny Jimenez at USA Folkstyle Nationals a year ago. Youtube it. Millhoff beat Bryce Meredith 6-4 at NHSCA last spring-same bracket where Josh Alber got beat by Zach Valley who got beat by Bryce Meredith. Adams 9-4 over Meredith last week. I guess beating two former Super 32 champions by a combined 12 points doesn't count.

Willie, I'm curious how can you have Mickey Jordan ranked #3 at 132 (which I agree with) and Joey McKenna ranked #7. Yet when it comes to the top junious you have him ranked #14 ( no quarrel with that) behind Mckenna who is #7 on the top junious rankings? I love to know what your thinking was on this one.

i like spears. a lot, actually. but it's hard to rank him because 1) he didn't beat any ranked kids at fargo and 2) he was JV behind his brother in HS, if i understand correctly.

i'll give it more consideration going forward.

I see Jeramy Sweany was a new ranking at #99 on the Junior Big Board. On his credentials it does not mention his 3rd Place this year at 195 @ Junior Fargo GR.

Wow...some of these guys are old enough to be freshman in college and are definitely as old as most seniors but then again, some of the seniors are on Social Security already. I wonder when holding kids back for sports will be hotly debated again. Some parents think you're a freak for Not doing it! Incredible actually. Still, some real talent here even if they Can grow a beard in tenth grade!
