JR Big Board Notes
Willie Saylor, Sr. Editor

The Top Ten stands pat in personnel with only a couple minor changes in order. Yeah, I know Isaiah White took a loss. But his skill set displayed this offseason makes me even more convinced of his college potential (which is what the class rankings are all about).

The rankings here are reflective of what I deem to be the order of value in recruiting. As such, they don’t always coincide with weight class rankings which are derived from a more objective, process-driven criteria.

New #11 with Chad Red moving up from #23 after a fine performance at Super 32 where he was nothing short of dominant.

The biggest mover, however, is Odighizuwa who came out of nowhere to win Fargo over Kevin Vough. He’s raw, but extremely athletic with great instincts. I think he’s just getting started and that he could make for a great solution in a landscape where HWT prospects are rather barren. I guess you could say ‘position scarcity’ plays a part in his high ranking.

Odighizuwa was one of just 16 new members to the JR Big Board.

And in a sign of the times, there are 20 reported commitments out of the Class of 2016. 19 of them appear here as Top 100 recruits.
