Adarios Jones beat two of the top 20 ranked guys that are seniors and this past Weekend beat Michael Johnson JR.

They're a prep school... they go to prep nationals. And they count as in New Jersey because they're from Blairstown, NEW JERSEY.

Nelson only defaulted to Coon then lost to C.Johnson 3-2 in wrestle backs . Jones from IL has beaten Nelson and C. Johnson even though Johnson did redeem him self only by a last minute bad shot by Jones. Jones Clearly out pummeled him. I think Jones deserve a top 20 nod !

Nevills should be #2 on here he destroyed the field at Flo nats but Coon is (and has been) the clear #1 for some time now

I GUESS YOU WERE WRONG ON THIS ONE WILLY. COON SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN MOVED IN THE it's not an easy decision guys, or one i take lightly. nor is it bias of any kind.yes Coon won on two ball draws. that was in July. Black has been far more productive ever since. Although i certainly realize that the state laws limit him.i often get accused of relying heavily on Fargo/Summer/FS. in that same vein, denying Black a #1 is essentially disregarding 4 years of in-season folkstyle wrestling. Black's folk resume is vastly superior. And while i love Coon (he's a great kid from a great family) he hasn't won nearly as much nor wrestled near the competition as Black.in my opinion, two coin flips shouldn't supersede a career worth of achievement.Coon held the top spot, and rightfully so, for half a year. but in that half year, he's been essentially off the radar and non-existant while Black has won the three toughest in-season tournaments in america.replyI GUESS YOU WERE WRONG ABOUT THIS ONE WILLY. how do they count blair as in new jersey they wrestle in canon mac's district

Sort of OT, but do you know how many of these guys are planning on playing football in college instead of wrestling? I know HWT are at a premium for colleges because so many of the good ones end up playing football instead.

I wish I had the video to post of Coon dismantling the #1 Division 1 HWT in Michigan. He had a sweet double leg, in which he picked him up in the air, 270 lbs, and dropped him oh so nicely on the mat. Then he just decided to quit toying with him and hit a nice body lock throw to the mat for the fall. Brooks may have a better resume, but Coon is the better wrestler. Its plain and simple. If Coon wrestled for Blair, he would have the same titles.

Blair's resume is impressive but he wrestles for Blair where if you are a star its easy to have one. Coon is from fowlerville where just to get on the map you have to be the best, sorry but Coon deserves this and is a better athlete.Black has had enough consideration training in a hyper-modern, state of the art , Gorilla factory/fancy prep school... I rest my case your honor

at least make it a tie for first-do the right thing besides Coon won the head to head and has been undefeated destroying everyone!

Freestyle Cadet world champion hello Black had the chance to do that but didnt case closed and if not he won the head to head and would have easily won all the titles Black did if given the chance to do so!

WILLIE....Adam Coon cannot participate in the Beast of the East or Ironman. He won fair and square in their matchup. I love you man, but your bias towards PA guys is showing through on this one. You are punishing a guy for archaic Michigan rules. By the way, Adam Coon is all-state in track and football. Can Brooks Black say that? Nope. Ask any coach, they would rather have a well rounded athlete.

Miller is on my watch list. he was 5th in cadets behind 4 others that aren't ranked. and lost to UR Sharp for 3rd at state tourney. what ranked kids has he beaten?
