Why is Berger 9? Has he beat any top 10 guys.?

Willie you are seriously out to lunch. Underperformed at the Powerade? He was injured the whole tourney and lost to Manville by 1 and Galasso by 2. Injury defaulted his only other loss. At states he had one "bad" loss to Bonner who he beat the week before. The other was a loss to the #1 ranked kid in the country. Man those losses to Retherford, Galasso, and Manville are horrible. He's way to up and down. You are punishing a kid for wrestling a tougher schedule then most.

So Zacherl beats Villarreal by 3, Beat Dutrow last year at Flo, beat Berger at Super 32, and still not ranked? You have a kid like Forrider ranked 15th who beat Montgomery by 1 in the state finals and Zacherl majors him this week at Flo. I guess that riding time loss to Dippery outweighs the rest. Very confusing.

dude I wrestled in the NCAA's, The Olympic Trials, Fargo, US Natls, Espior Natls, Midlands, and any other big tournament you can think of so don't lecture me on what a big tournament is. Fargo is one of the only big tournaments Bannister has never been to. The kid doesn't shy away from anyone or anything. His HS teams suxs or he would have gone to Ironman and Powerade. MD rules only allow for a certain # of tournaments per HS season and if he goes to these by himself the other kids on his HS team wouldn't have 2-3 less tournaments to compete in. Just a list of kids Bannister has beaten in the last 2 years (Grant Leeth, Ryan Blees, Shaheim Brown, Mason Manville, Pat Dugan, Ty White, Dennis Gustafson) Everyone of these kids is currently ranked by FLO or was last year and has moved onto college. I know he has a few more big wins like the one at JO’s but I can’t remember what the kids names are so I can’t post them. Don’t know about you but it sounds like he has earned his ranking to me.

Bannister is def a top 5 kid in my mind and would beat several of the kids ranked above him. He hasn't given up an offensive takedown in a very very long time and is as dominate on his feet as anyone in the country. He's improved his bottom skills and can get out from anyone. His knock is on top but I think he can ride 30sec at a time now. His biggest asset is he doesn't get tired. I watched him beat the tar out of a PA states 3rd placer last yr at Junior Olympics and completely wore the kid down and ended with 10 total takedowns in 3 periods. It takes a ton of energy to wrestle like him and he proved he's a top 5 guy by beating Manville for the 2nd time in the last 4 years. So he doesn't go to Fargo bc he doesn't like the tournament and he plays football so he can't go to Super 32. But he still enters other big time tournaments like Beast, Natl. Preps, NHSCA Natls., PA Jr Duals, AAU Junior Olympics, and will prob be doing NHSCA Duals and hopefully Disney Duals this yr. Several of those kids above him don’t enter as many big name tournaments as Baby J but they get respect bc of Fargo which is BS.
