In the abstract, the rule changes favor the offensive arsenal of Taylor, who looked great both at the US Open and against the Russian in New York. He is far more confident in freestyle than he was last year at the Olympic Trials, when he was likely injured. |

TOPIC 15 hours ago by zorthoman I wondered why no one seems to have done a thorough analysis of why the Iranian team went home without coming to Los Angeles. This was a huge deal for us in Los Angeles as we were all looking forward to them coming and to a great match. It was also going to be very significant given all the media hype about a potential military confrontation between the US and Iran and this was an opportunity for some positive news about US Iranian relations. There are a lot of Iranian Americans who live in this area and I am sure the arena would have been full of enthusiastic supporters of wrestling and it would have been a very exciting atmosphere. I have to compliment the Canadian and Russian team for coming and to the other wrestlers who were there and there certainly was some great wrestling. The event was not what it was billed, however, as they had to throw in a lot of youth wrestlers to fill out the event. It was very strange that USA wrestling suddenly changed the billing from US vs Iran to US vs Russia and Canada and barely mentioned the absense of the Iranian team. We were only given a vauge explanation that they were concerned about security and then encouraged to believe that they were a bunch of jerks anyway so good riddance. That seems like a shabby way to treat them after our wrestlers are treated with such respect in Iran. I want to know what really happened. Were they threatened? What happened? I love Flowrestling but it seems to me that as wrestling journalists you guys would want to get to the bottom of this. Why is no one talking about it? |

You took ONE-HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS out of my account. My CC should not have even been touched for another year. The five day wait is RIDICULOUS. What professional business says we'll get back to you within 5-days? The only kind of business that does that are the ones that go out of business. |

60 lbs match Coleman Scott USA vs. Opan Sat Russia COVERAGE BTS LA - USA vs Russia/Canada For those of you that missed the Steiber vs Sat match, Steiber attacked the whole match. Steiber was able to score and get in deep with low singles or low shots and muscle his way to a finish. In contrast, Coleman didn't attack nearly as much as Steiber and had too much respect for the Russian. Maybe Steiber being the younger of the two was just more bold and fearless. Also Steiber was able to wear down Sat with his better cardio. Really hope Coleman can open up a little more. |
